Big post

This is probably going to be my only post of the weekend, I'm just so busy. Saturday was a fifteen hour workday. Sunday means church and more work...but I'm being productive, so I really can't bitch about that. I know at this hour I'm not breaking much news, but it's news to me.

This is going to be a dense post, you have been warned.

After one day as the new owner, Lew Wolff decides to make a big impression. He's saying all the right things about staying in Oakland and he's made a signing. I like this guy, I honestly believe while he won't let the A's payroll bloat into Angels proportions the little extra cash to make a certain trade possible to get that one player to put us in the playoffs is entirely possible. I am so happy right now. Congratulations Rich, and may you fan many hitters this year to help the A's and two fantasy baseball teams. Also a speedy recovery from that blister.

Who cares? These games don't count. However, I believed that the game from the day before was much more important. That was a game I was watching intently to see if Saarloos would get the #5 job, he did and Yabu finally had the outing I was waiting for ever since he stepped on American soil. That sure helped take the sting out of losing. I bet you that moist Bay Area air helped Yabu with his pitching, Yabumania is here to stay. Now, when can I get my "jersey t-shirt" with "#13 Yabu" on the back?
