I could tell you what won the game for Texas, situational hitting and good breaks. The A's had some good contact but it seems that they hit them right where a deferder was and what few times we had runners on base we ended up serving up a LOBster:

Blanton pitched well and allowed only one earned run and Yabu allowed his first Earned Run in the Majors while striking out two in the ninth. Not bad, but the bats were silenced today.

It's ironic to think that our big question mark coming into this season was our starting pitching. As I've said before, I think our rookies are holding up well.
