Finally...something all of America can agree on. Is the NHL dumb? The owners don't have the leverage like they do in the NFL and MLB. There are other pro hockey leagues in the world that offer comparable levels of play, unlike football which is almost exclusively an American sport and baseball where there is no place in the world with comparable play. It took a good part of a decade and a whole alot of (steroid aided?) home runs for baseball to recover from it's most recent work stoppage. I wonder how the NHL can recover from this.
