Shut up, T.O.

I'd like to share a recent quote from the Bay Area's most favorite ex-49er wide receiver, Terrell Owens:

"What a lot of people don't realize is that I've been doing a lot of rehab on my own, a lot of healing on my own, but spiritually God is healing me and I'm way ahead of where a lot of people expect me to be, even the doctor. He's even shocked at what he's seen. Spiritually I've been healed and I believe that I'll be out there on that field Sunday, regardless of what anyone says."

-Terrell Owens, from an article on ESPN.com

So God has healed you...I find that somewhat hard to believe. Not that I'm a skeptic of God's powers, I'm not but check this out.

"He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
and exalted those of low degree.
He has filled the hungry with good things;
and the rich He has sent empty away. "

-The Magnificat - Revised Standard Catholic Edition

I kinda like the Protestant translations a little better because they translated the line " et exaltavit humiles" as "and raised the humble" but either way I'm pretty sure you are neither of low degree nor humble.

I'm also pretty sure you're not hungry and I'm also sure you're rich.

If God actually decides to heal you, when I'm sure He has a many much more important things to do, I won't question His judgment, but I think it's highly improbable that He did.

If God really healed you spiritually and not physically, which is also a possibility, I don't think you'd hog the spotlight anymore. In fact you should quit football and give many of your millions to the poor, now that would be a miracle.
