IOC Drops Baseball and Softball from 2012 Olympics

Although I'm disappointed, I guess the loss of baseball is to be expected. Olympic baseball teams never featured Major Leaguers. What's the point of having an Olympic competition when the best players in the world aren't participating anyways. Would you rather have an Olympic gold medal in baseball or a World Series ring?

Softball on the other hand, I don't know. I don't think softball is as widespread as baseball.

Musical Theatre Update

You know what? It feels like I'm in a relationship in which I know a breakup with the girlfriend is impending. The worst part is, Musical Theatre is my first love when it comes to the performing arts.
