A Close One

OAK 5, TEX 4

The A's won aver close game. I was very close to missing my entrance on the Prologue of Romeo and Juliet. I'm still pissed about that. Me and a few others were following the game on Gameday in costume in the dressing rooms. The stage manager conviently forgot to call places in the Men's Dressing room. I got back stage just in the nick of time.

That should have never happened. A stage manager is supposed to call places in every room, not just the green room. I'm still fuming.

In my estimation, I thought this was going to be the game the A's were going to drop, but Saarloos was effective enough in the Texas Band Box and the bullpen was used well. No Ken Macha haterism tonight. With Harden taking the mound tomorrow, I think a sweep is possible.

And people are in awe that the Rangers have one of the highest homerun totals in the majors. The A's hit four jacks today. If Ameriquest Field was the A's home turf, the A's would be renounded for their power. Arlington, Texas, where ERAs go to die. They don't call it Coors Lite for nothing.
