Happy Fathers Day
PHI 2, OAK 5
Didn't watch the game, did Fathers Day backyard type stuff with my dad. Unfortunately, it involved physical labor. Fortunately, I did have some good "bonding" time with my dad. I wasn't in good earshot of the radio either so I heard snippets of the game only. I knew the the Phils came out early and the A's took the lead later.
Since Crosby's return (and I'm sure I'm not the only one to point this out, I got the idea of this from the Oakland Tribune yesterday) the A's fave won five series out of six. So far, in the month of June the A's are 10-6. With Harden's highly anticipated return and Huston Street recovering from his strained hammy, the A's are only going to get better. Any crazy midseason trades the Beane is going to pull is icing on the cake.
Duchsherer got the save, this man is a good fantasy pickup.
To all you fathers out there, happy Fathers Day.
