I worked through the game and was unaware of yet another loss in which the "A's rally falls short." I'm wondering how can this team, outhit the other team and still lose.

I really want to go to the game tomorrow, but I'm working the KBLX Stone Soul Picnic tomorrow and I think I might be able to make it, but barely. I'm non-union bitch boy, if times were better and the union was more short-staffed, I might have been an overhire making $26 an hour and learning valuable experience on how to run a concert. Instead I'm the Cal State "liason" making $10.85 an hour sitting on my butt babysitting facilities. Wait a sec, I'm not technically a "non-union bitch boy" since I'm not even working any kind of a running crew gig. I guess I should be thankful for the easy job.

Last year at the Stone Soul Picnic, one of the headliners was Rick James. Yes, the Rick James, bitch. I have a cool Rick James story, but I'll save it for later.

How am I coping with the A's season? I just think it's still basketball season and I'm watching the wretched pre-Baron Davis Warriors. But at least the Warriors play in a top-notch facility, not a football stadium.
