You know times are tough when Blez, the perpetual optimist at Athletics Nation, starts feeling dejected over these A's. To quote Blez, the theme of today's game is, "Could've. Would've. Should've. Whatever."

If us fans feel this way, I wonder how the players feel.

I have also been repeating, "It can't get any worse than this." But every time I say that, things seem to get worse. In a way I can't wait till this team hits bottom, because once you're at the bottom, there's no way to go but up.

Foulke blows a save when Byrnes hitting a homer while Dotel allows yet another Walk-off. We really needed this win.

Wow, another sweep. When will this team rebound? Scoreless Innings meter at zero. At least something is working. This may become a painful homestand.

In the search for new mojo, I'm going to buy a new A's cap. Or un-retire my old one. I'm also adding a losing streak meter in hopes of another reverse curse, I'll add that tonight.
