I mean Junk Car Vida. Has anybody noticed those Jr. Giants ads featuring Vida Blue were pulled after his DUI during spring training this year? Well it seems that Vida Blue, former A's pitcher who's best years were in Oakland, not San Francisco, may face jail time for failing to complete the terms of his probation.

Blue, who played most of his 17 major league seasons with the Oakland Athletics and San Francisco Giants, was set to appear in court Monday for failing to perform his required community service after pleading no contest in April 2004 to a misdemeanor drunken driving charge, court officials said.

What? Not performing community service? All this guy does nowadays is community service, he's philanthropy guy for the Giants and is the "commissioner" of the Junior Giants. This doesn't seem fair. Vida doesn't deserve this.
