"Two man enter, one man leave..."
OAK 5, SF 6 10 Innings
That is the reason why Kirk Saarloos is now named the #5 starter of the Oakland rotation. Seth Etherton had a horrible inning where he allowed four earned runs in which he just couldn't throw a strike to save his own ass. His command was just not there. Although Huston Street was pegged with the loss, he pitched two solid innings and he's earned his spot on the big league staff.
In other news, I am very much relieved to find out that Bobby Crosby's hand isn't broken, he just has a bruise and is expected to miss very little playing time, if any. However, Hiram Bocachica, a non-roster invitee who had a great spring, did get injured when he was hit by a pitch.
Also, check this out, you'll have a hearty laugh.
"Real" baseball (this time it counts) is right around the corner. I can't wait until those lazy summer afternoons I will be spending at the ballpark, watching a game, eating some hot dogs, drinking a few brews...that's the life.
