Cardinal Ratzinger is elected Pope Benedict XVI.

"Having a clear faith, based on the creed of the church, is often labeled today as a fundamentalism," says our new Pope. I have a clear faith, but I do not feel nor has anybody ever labeled me as a fundamentalist. I fear these words just gave a bunch of "Christian" fundamentalists a whole lot ammo.

I wonder how this Pope will work with the American church.

I pray that this Benedict will be like the last one and that he also continues to positives of John Paul II's papacy.

I miss John Paul.
