My bio
When I did Traviata I was a late addition to the cast. I was asked for a photo and a bio at a rehearsal. I couldn't pull out a headshot at a rehearsal and I hastily wrote a bio on binder paper at the rehearsal. It was a little sparse, I'm going write a singer's bio and post it here, it will be updated and your comments will be most welcome.
Kenny Louis, tenor, is a native of Fremont, CA. He is currently a senior completing his studies in music at California State University, East Bay (formerly known as CSU, Hayward) where he studies voice with Dr. Allen Shearer. In Feburary of 2004 Kenny had the opportunity to represent the university at the ACDA Regional Convention in Las Vegas, NV where he performed with the World Music Honor Choir, under the direction of Jing Ling Tam. Recent appearances include Mr. Cash from Mozart's The Impresario (SOLO Opera, Walnut Creek) and Gastone from La Traviata (Livermore Valley Opera).That was my bio, version 1.0 dated 3/18/05. Let's see how this goes.
Kenny is currently the Director of Music at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church in Fremont, CA.
