Murphy's Law

This weekend is the last weekend of my Spring Break. Instead of heading down to Phoenix to check out Spring Training, I've stayed home due to massive amounts of church gigs for Holy Week. I can't complain though, since I'm getting paid for this.

Yesterday was Good Friday, I had to be at church at 7:30 PM. Before then I had to show a relative around San Francisco. So I did as much of the San Francisco tour as possible; Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, Union Square, Civic Center (for the architeture) and the obligatory Cable Car ride. Since I had to go straight to chruch when I left the city I wore nicer than usual clothes for church.

We had lunch at Bubba Gump's in Pier 39. The food was good but...two splotches of grease dripped onto my dress shirt. I had to wear the jacket for the rest of the day. This always happen to me when I have to wear nice clothes for something. When I'm wearing my suit just for the hell of it, I can eat ribs and keep my suit clean. When I have a gig I get grease from fried shrimp on my shirt.

Murphy's Law indeed.
