Here we go again...

This is just my luck, last night right before going to bed I said "well at least the Byrnes/Bradford for Cameron rumors are dead." When I woke up this morning, I heard on trusty KCBS that the Contra Costa Times reports that the A's are trying to swap Byrnes for N.Y.'s Cameron (registration required).

The worst part is, that the CoCo Times is a local paper, the bulk of Byrnes rumors have been coming from east coast papers, I hardly take notice because they're mostly speculating, like the Huddy to LA rumors. Not only that, the Times report that the A's were the ones that initiated the trade talks.

It's not worth it Billy, he strikes out too much, his contract is too big, he is injured and possibly has little cartilage left in his wrist, we already have a Gold Glove-caliber CF in Kotsay. The cost is way too high for some more right handed pop.
