A's to Lew Wolff: Closer to Reality

This all I have to say to Mr. Lewis Wolff, who will probably take over as the owner of the A's as soon as Opening Day:

Mr. Wolff

Please keep the A's in Oakland, if you absolutely can't keep them in Oakland, at least keep them somewhere in the East Bay. Whatever new stadium the A's are getting, please let it not be a lame clone of SBC Park. Also, please keep Billy Beane and let him do what he's been so good at. Finally, please don't EVER think of renaming the team as the San Francisco Athletics of Oakland, I think the East Bay has had enough of the name chagne drama.

Signed,

Kenny Louis

It looks like Wolff isn't planning to put more money in the club. You don't know how relived I am to hear that...

Richard,

I don't really care about an increased payroll for the A's. As long as Billy Beane is able to do his Jedi Mind Tricks and win on a shoestring budget I'll be cool with it. Also I hope he can sign Harden and lock him up through his arby years, I think Harden will seriously be something special. Yes, the Big Three is gone, but I think a New Three will take their place.
